Inspiring me lately...top from the new Plumo catalogue. next Emma Cassi with her gorgeous jewellery, followed by Hobbs new range for Spring and lastly an image from Easy Elegance by Atlanta Bartlett.
I have also been enjoying Gathering SpriggsHeather's lovely blog, along with an array of beautiful content i like how she signs off her posts with Blessings, so i think i will follow her lead... with love and blessings Kat x
I just lately changed the arrangement on my bedroom wall. I wanted to put some of the lovely photographs up that i have found through Etsy and blogs. I have a limited amount of space, so chose to use frames without mounts for some of them. The white frames used here i was so pleased to find, they are by Ebay seller: The frame centre
They are such very good prices, and are beautiful quality. In the past i have found it so hard to find white frames and Ikea stopped doing the ones that held square images so i had to search elsewhere.
Here is a closer view. The top photo is by the lovely Keri-Anne of Gingerlillytea, the butterfly trinket dish is from Gabrielle Kai and the Roses photo is from Kristy-bee.
On the other side of the wall, i have my print from kelly Smith of Birdy & Me and the two smaller prints are ATC (artist trading card prints) from My Charlie Girl at etsy.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing these, if you have any delicate illustrators to share i'd love to hear of them. Love kat x
The Cabbages and Roses new lookbooks for spring summer 2010, arent the images just gorgeous! I really like the tunic dress in the third photo with the cropped white trouser. Just want to thank you for all your comments and visits lately, you're all stars, kat xx
Every now and then life gifts us with a magical find, something that we just adore, and isnt it exciting when it does.
There are many blogs i like, and i find new ones most weeks. There are many blogs i love and i come across new ones of those just every now and then. But then there are the blogs that i just Totally adore! you know the ones you find most rarely and only on very special occassions!
This is now, for me, one of my all time favourite blogs, its Aileen's and she lives in Hong Kong has 2 of the most gorgeous poodle puppy dogs, and loves zakka, crochet, stamps, stationary, lace, vintage, chloe shoes and cupcakes(see pics) and so much more that i also love, that i found myself wanting to share pretty much ALL her photos with you! Her blog (superbly written in english- yay) is a feast for the eyes and such an inspiration to my creativity.
She creates the most delicate necklaces and things but so far, i think only sells at local fairs. I really hope she may sell on etsy in the future!
This is a secret that i just had to share with you as soon as i found her...enjoy these pictures and visit her blog here and flickr here if you havent already made the discovery of course........
love n magic kathryn
Todays chic and cheap post features a floral skirt and wedge sandals from urban outfitters, and a soft pink jumper from Topshop which has lace shoulder detailing. Underwear also by Topshop. The bag is an embroidered one from accessorize, with a new baby bee necklace by Alex Monroe from the fab Accessories online.kat xx
I started a new discovery journal about a month ago,and called it Details, the top photo is the front cover. i thought i'd share some pages since i havent posted any collages for quite a while. I always like to keep my scrapbooks as a way to collect things that speak to me and inspire me. As well as creating dreams upon a page, like a visual affirmation. Love kat x
These totally unique and gorgeous artist bears, bunnies, and puppies are the work of Jenny-Lee who lives in Melbourne Australia. I fell in love with Jenny Loves Benny creations after coming across them on her Flickr where you can see the many cuties that have been adopted around the world. I have shared some of my favourites here, though it was hard to choose as they are all adorable.
Jenny blogs here
and has an etsy shop here
There is also a beautiful birthday book avaliable at blurb here
I shared a few photos from the pages of mine below.....
Here are some more of jenny's creations
I was blessed to recieve Tiffy, the bunny with the cutest pink hat last year and Sayumi who arrived on my birthday this year. Through purchasing Jenny kept me up to date with delivery and i found her to be one of the nicest etsy sellers i have been in touch with.
I now follow her at the facebook group, and get to see her latest creations both there and at her blog. Its fascinating to see what she will come up with next, such as the recent batch of chicks that went off to Japan. Here are a few pics of my two...
Jenny produces wallpapers for your Mac or pc which you can easily download.
Here's one of the designs below, and the current one is the puppy Sweetheart, thats at the top of the post.
There are also kits which provide all you need to make up your own bear, pup or bunny!
I have been wanting to post about JLB for awhile but had to work on the post to get it just right and include everything that i love! It is all so beautifully made and with such care, its as if each bear has its own personality. I think you can tell that even from the photographs. Thankyou Jenny for creating such cuteness for us, you are so talented and you bring so much happiness through sharing and selling your work, don't stop! love kathryn x
