Hello lovelies,
i have been feeling a little low in spirits of late.
So if i am not as online, or chatting with you, you know why.
I'm sure it will pass, i just need to be gentle with my little heart.
Some afternoons, i have been doing a little craft.
The first for quite some time. And it feels nice.
You may remember just last post, i mentioned the Matchbox challenge.
And i made a few. This is "The Bird One" from Jeska's theme list.
I am not doing them on the set days, as there's too many.
But its been fun to pick and choose, and take a look at my supplies.
Pull out bits of fabric and lace and bring together a decorated box.
More pictures?.....
they're are some below for you...
See the matchboxes others are creating for the challenge here
with peacefilled wishes

Oh how positively sweet...

I love your little matchbox! The dove looks so much like my little pet dove...not white, but the colour of really milky coffee. She's quite old now, but is still so lovely and gentle with her little laughing coos.

Just precious, Kat. A little box of delights! I'm sorry you're feeling low. But soon it will be spring and the daffodils will be very happy to see you. xo

Hi Kat,
I do hope you're feeling a little brighter now. I really love your matchbox and the brooch is beautiful! Are you planning to do any more? I'm just finishing off my first one now, it's a "travel" one and I hope to do more. I'll post it up on Flickr [and my Facebook page] when it's done.
All the best flower, Jen xxx

Hi Jen
Thanks sweetie, at times I'm a little better. And yes I'd like to do a few more
matchboxes, the Japanese one especially and maybe forget me knot.
I shall look out for yours on FB or Flickr thanks for letting me know - its nice to hear from others taking part
