Now and again something special happens, that's all sparkly and magical..
and that was definately so for Friday, when Jules came to see me.
So wonderful to feel well enough to enjoy this simple pleasure
to chat with a dear friend and share a cup of tea and homemade ginger biscuits.
And we exchanged little pressies to mark our first time meeting up too.
I placed my gifts in an Orla Kiely box as i knew she liked her designs.
Jules was so very kind in her giving, even got me a special Secrets of a butterfly mug!
And the roses she gave me too, have been beautiful
i have taken many photos, played about with different arrangements
and been sharing those pics on flickr and instagram
So wonderful to have some flowers, when as yet the garden roses are not doing so well
(tis all this rain, it isnt what they like, and too little sunlight)

You look so happy Kat, I hope you had a lovely time together. My bestest friend [for about 20 years now] lives so far away in Northern Ireland [right up by the Giant's Causeway] so I don't see her very often but when we do get together it's just wonderful :-)
