Mosaic on monday - Susannah Tucker

Endlessly inspiring, perfectly peaceful, enchantingly magical, all of these descriptions for me apply to the photography of Susannah Tucker.

Warm, thoughtful, considerate and generous, all of these descriptions apply to Susannah herself, who has shown me so much kindness over the time we have known one another through flickr and blogging.

I was browsing her etsy shop  on Sunday and i thought to myself i must share some of her magic with you. I picked out some favourites from her flickr stream. A different colour palette to the work of hers that i have featured before at  Secrets. As in the past i posted about her butterfly range which is more pink and turquoise.

As well as the butterflies, i also love the nature photos she takes - the soft dreaminess of the beach ones, the muted tones of leaves and typewriters, wild flowers and fresh blue skies that seem to go on forever. It's a strange time of year here, a blend of seasons, summer has gone, taking with it the last of the roses, and though much colder there is still a way to go till winter.

The damp weather makes my thoughts turn to warming foods,like soups. Speaking of food, we had a treat today, my Dad made some cheese scones and some shortbread. He watched The Great British Bake off with us, and i think it must have rubbed off on him. They were delicious. (smiles)

I don't have a lot of news. I spent some time on etsy over the weekend and hope to compile another of my selections to share with you all soon.

The summer clothes and pj's have just been put away, and yet Monday has dawned with the bluest of skies and a warmth in the air. It is said to be 25 degrees this week, warmer than most days in July or August, an indian summer perhaps?
