The water of life

March_2008_182

The beauty of the heart

is the lasting beauty:

its lips give to drink

of the water of life.
Truly it is the water,

that which pours,

and the one who drinks.

All three become one when

your talisman is shattered.

That oneness you can't know

by reasoning.

The spirit of water

"Dr. Masaru Emoto, author of Messages from Water, has been able to further our understanding about water's caring and compassionate connection with us.

The photos are examples taken from the book, which documents his groundbreaking research into the effect of human consciousness on water. The book illustrates how water quality is reflected in its crystalline structure and how the consciousness of water can be affected by exposure to pollution, words, music, photos, and even prayer. When we reflect on how our bodies are primarily made of water, the implications of Dr. Emoto's work are staggering. "

By freezing water and taking pictures of the frozen water crystals that form we can see the impact we have.(there is a before photo(left) and an after photo (right) ...the after shows the results when chi and love were sent to the water in an experiment which is explained below.its a beautiful snowflake!)
Tapbefore_3  Tapafter

"The implications of Dr. Emoto's work are profound and life-changing. For example, in one experiment, Dr. Emoto wrote to 500 instructors from all over Japan. He told them that he would be placing a cup of ordinary tap water on his desk at a specific date and time. He asked them to transmit their feelings to that water-to send "chi and soul" of love and the wish that the water should become clean. The before and after pictures (shown above) are truly remarkable. As you can see, the "before" photo of the tap water is a mess, whereas the "after" photo shows a gorgeous crystal. This is an amazing finding since the 500 people were not even in the same room, nor even in the same city. This demonstrates that people's thoughts can be gathered no matter how far apart they are. It confirms the power of thought and prayer and further suggests that perhaps we can purify ordinary tap water through our conscious thought and words. " by Felicia Weiss, Ph.D.

and obtain labels from The Spirit of Water

It also i think it empowers us to know that the words we speak, use and see, have an impact upon us,as our bodies are more than 90% water. This is very much an important aspect in my recovery the use of words in the form of affirmation or prayer, along with intention and invocation.

I have found these labels(as in the top picture) that you stick on glasses of water,so that the water then is crystalised beautifully. I am certain i taste a difference or maybe its just sense a difference. Its what you'd imagine pure water from a mountain stream to be like once you've used the labels on ordinary drinking water or bottled water. Its that sense of it being pure and charged with the energy and vibrancy of its surroundings.

My blog post on water today was inspired by my buying this new mug yesterday in a garden centre,my first trip out in a wile and i really enjoyed it. See its what's inside it, that intrigued me!the words peace and love (and cha cha cha!) are on the base,so its an alternative to the labels on the outside. I know the water i place in it will recieve this vibration and form beautiful crystals,i believe benefiting me so much more.Momiji shop

TONIGHT-Light the way home for Maddie

Maddie2_splash_480795a_2

Please Light a candle tonight 9.15 till 10pm
for Maddie

Supporters of the McCann family, and anyone around the world who's been touched by Madeleine's story, have been asked to light a candle, shine a torch or turn a porch light on between 9.15pm and 10pm-the moment the parents beleive Maddie was abducted-to show she is not forgotten.
please join in if your heart feels the call, and please check what time it will be in your area if you live Overseas.(Though i do feel, if you set the intention before lighting, it will work at 9.15 in your own time anyway as prayer transcends time and distance).I feel this is very much a way for us to send prayers and light and Love to Maddie in her time of need and that she must not be forgotten about. Its also a way to pray for all children in distress whether they have been taken, or are suffering abuse in there own family's (like the recent developments in Austria show all too clearly.)

The LIGHT THE WAY HOME initiative has been organised by Helping to find Madeliene an independant group of supporters.
please pass the word around. thankyou.

Sheepskin boots, vintage cards and tea cups

April_08_171

Most of us know how beautiful books by Ryland Peters & small are and how evocative their photography is. They produce address books and a limited range of notecards, some of which have proved easier to come by than others. i finally tracked some of the vintage flea market style ones that i've been after for ages,i bought them from a UK website shop Glint. They come in a very useful box and are in a set of 4, here are the other designs...April_08_170

I treat myself to a new pair of Uggs this week from Love from Australia, in a caramel brown colour. They have ties that wrap around and i'm loving them.I should probably join an Ugg fan club if there is such a thing!April_08_192

I'd like to recommend a group of 3 female singers and their sweet gentle music. They are called Aurevoir Simone and i've been listening to their album lately...you can hear it on their website.

April_08_169 I've been thinking about saving up for an ipod, and am looking at the new i pod touch, does anyone have one and have any feedback on it? please leave a comment, as i'm interested in how you've found it.its one thing reading reviews but nothing beats a friends recommendation does it.

I made a card today for a family friend Auntie Olive, she is an amazing person, very giving and very much a part of her church and singing in the choir, she has various health problems but somehow never complains and always has an open house and heart for others. She has been very kind to me over the years and never forgotten me during the years when i was too ill to be around. sometimes out of sight is out of mind for people i've discovered, even relatives that you would have thought would remember you, don't always! it can be an interesting experience, and one where you have to just realise that some people seem to have more of a brain wired for considering others feelings and thinking about them, and some don't. It turns out its not a personal thing against you, it just is the way it is.  Once i realised this i felt less upset by it.

I still find that sometimes i have to balance out how much i think about people and try not to 'give' too much. I have had to learn to allow room to 'recieve' too. We need to live both roles don't we. On  a small scale and on a big one too, like how much we let in the Universe to support us.It has to fill our cup before we can share anything with others....

April_08_166

That kind of leads me full circle back to Auntie Olive who is very much connected to her God and her faith sustains her from the inside. That ease of faith and feeling comfortable with life is very inspiring. Its something i couldnt relate to when i was younger, until i came to know God/Universal Source of Love, in my own way and through my own experience. Now i understand where she gets her Light and energy from and how she manages all she does even at 90 years old! She always seems to trust and know she's taken care of and doesnt seem to live with fear. Her face is always happy and she delights in life. So i wanted to make a special card for a special lady... i used some vintage wallpaper, and vintage lace. With some cream pressed flowers and i tried a new idea of a button closure with a ribbon loop. April_08_174  thats all for now, keep in touch, kat xx

To believe is a blessing

January_08_bits_n_pieces_033

January_08_bits_n_pieces_037 January_08_bits_n_pieces_050

Following our own hearts, listening to our intuition and keeping believing that what we hope for deep deep down can become a possibile reality. All theses things are a motto to which i've lived by and still do live by. Sometimes we do so and its relatively easy,at others its much harder to hold to,but its at those very times that its most important. I have found there is a difference in hoping for something and believing in something. When i believe then it feels stronger and much more likely than when i just hope.Believing is something that seems to come from our hearts rather than our heads.Often it can just be a sense we have that someday things will turn out right, even if that goes against all logic. Because if we think too much about something we tend to see alot of the reasons why it won't happen or can't happen. But hope has its unique place too. Sometimes its the only thing that we have left when we can't hear our heart's and so to believe seems itself hopeless.

January_08_bits_n_pieces_093

Words have a power beyond just language expression and communication. They carry a charge or any energy,a vibration. Think of how your heart feels when you see or read the words Love, Happiness, Peacefulness,Harmony,Togetherness,Connection and so on,they all have their own unique warmth and joy to them. When we see a certain word or phrase it has the power to uplift or defeat us. To inspire and elate or to lead us to feel down and stressed even fearful. We only have to think of a loved ones name, or the sound of a child saying mama for the 1st time to realise the importance and significance of words to the ears of our heart's.

January_08_bits_n_pieces_333 This is a new canvas collage i did last week.

I like to see words,to use them in my crafts,to share them,to send them to others and to value recieving them in return, its just a little thing but i think it probably has the power to make more of a differance to us than we at first realise. Because the words also carry the energy out there, they are not just a group of letters strung together. If we say to someone we love them we are sending them the vibration of our love for them. if we wish them peace we are including in that message a peaceful vibration to touch their heart. Our favourite words, along with those we spot that we use most often, they can often tell us alot about where we're at in that moment or where we'd like to be in our lives.Like little signposts to follow i've found.

Someone who uses words beautifully and is certainly following and sharing from her heart with us,in her wonderful blog, is Carol. If among other things you like to see beautiful spring time flowers in jugs and vases,(through the photos  you can almost smell the scent!) then drop by her blog and be inspired like i was today. its titled Clover Yard Thankyou for the lovely comment and for through it meaning i found your blog too C. To connect and share inspirations is beautiful.

Thankyou all for helping my confidence to grow in terms of sharing words from my own heart, love to you all K x

Believing and caring

Esty_035 Just wanted to share my latest canvas which i added to my Etsy a few days ago. I used some of the new vintage flowers that i posted about last time and pretty much everything else is vintage too. I'm pleased with how its turned out. I'm hoping to do some more small ones(5x5") now that the christmas cards i did for mam and myself are completed.

I have to tell you about Dogeared jewellery today as i'm really getting into their newest lines. I've always loved anything with wording on like, believe, dream, peace, that sort of thing, hence i add those words often to my collages. I would have loved to design a range of jewellery along those lines and low and behold Dogeared have and its just the way i would have done it myself. Its largely avaliable in the States but some does trickle over here, i've found it best stocked at Asos and Accessories online . The full range though can be seen on their own website Dogeared.com this is what they say about the new Shine collection...

"A little bit gorgeous a little bit rock and roll. You'll be shining like a star (a rock star) in our newest jewels. These shine necklaces, remind you to trust your inner strength and sparkle like the bright star you are! It's all about layering and length, so with chains that hang 18", 24" and 36", we've got you covered".This is my favourite and i'm hoping Santa may read this! I'm really drawn to Citrine at the moment must need its sunshine-y energy.

Believe_necklace As christmas approaches, like many of us my mind often turns to which charities to give a bit of extra to than i normally could throughout the year.I know each of us are drawn to varying organisations through our interests or family connections to them. I thought it might be nice to share some that i take an interest in. I donate to Shelter as they do alot for the homeless, and i always think of them more over the coldest period of the year. At least they give them a little bit of christmas care over the holiday too, like a meal on christmas day. They work with youth projects and help people get a rung on the ladder, a place to stay so they can then apply for jobs.  The updates on newsletters where they could easily be depressing stories, instead we are told of an inspirational story of how a particular young person has turned their life around and found their way back into society, finding stabilty a job and relative safety after the traumas they've come through in their lives.

I also found out about Mary's meals last year, which fund projects feeding children around the world in some of the most desolate areas. It costs as little as £5.30 to feed a child for one whole year! yes i couldnt believe it either. And that small donation makes such a huge difference.

  Donate20image20large

I Believe we all make a difference *** we choose how we shine and where that light is felt  *** I've found even the smallest thing, that maybe thought insignificant, has touched my life, so i know if i do it too,it has the potential to touch anothers in the same way.  Sometimes its the smallest things that make the biggest difference anyway isnt it.  Love and sparkles K

Buddha

Penrith_july_07_093_buddha Hi all, these beautiful, tranquil Buddha statues were in a unique garden centre i visited while away. They are not the size of the huge ones Neill has seen on his travels to other countries but they were non the less, nice to see..Penrith_july_07_090 the whole place had secret garden sort of feel to it as round every corner was another little path or arch way,and many little statues hidden amongst the plants with both for sale. There were large stone apples some with bites out and some as if eaten to just a core, and with golden stalks.Penrith_july_07_096_sitting_buddha This archway shot was taken as i came out of the little cafe there where we'd had a scone and cup of tea.I also got my Mary statue here which i havent taken a photo on my camera of yet but i will get round to it and blog about it too.Penrith_july_07_109 i hope youve enjoyed the vibe of this tranquil setting, sunday wishes Kat xx
