Hi Kat
How is it going? Novels? Oh I love to read...I would really recommend three of my favorite authors-Nicolas Sparks, Have you seen "The Notebook"? He writes lovely stories filled with love, humor and real life. (need tissues nearby!)
Also Mike Gayle (he is an english writer actually) He is hilarious and what he writes about is so true to life, just everyday things and relationships. Under him you can look for such titles as "Turning thirty", "Dinner for two". Then I also adore Jodi Picoult. I have read about 5 of her books and all have been great. She is amazing. The stories touch you and warm you. I would recommend such ones as "My sister's keeper", "Plain truth", "Perfect match" "vanished". All very good. I hope this helps! I am a bit behind on getting your parcel ready, we went away for the long weekend and believe or not I have been doing laundry for 2 straight days! I have done I am sure 8 loads and so sick of it! a-huh! The last load just beeped! Should get it off to you Monday morning. Take care, pop on over to my blog to see and read about my holiday and photo's.
Love Bonnie

I have similar memories of my grandma, and now have her little figurines I loved to play with as a child in my own home.
