Dear Kat...I do not have the words to express my sadness in your behalf, but please know I am thinking of you and hope that you will get through this hard time.

How special that you got to be there... He looks like such a charming man. =) I hope you feel real better soon. {hugs}

you are so beautiful! no doubt, your lovely granda must be so proud as he smiles upon you!! xx blessings Kathryn!

hey kat,
i don't know what to say. i am really, really sorry. i am with you-well in my thoughts.{hugs}

My thoughts are with you Kat. We farewelled my partners grandmother this week too, it's a stressful time but at the same time, it's comforting to be able to celebrate the life of a loved one. Hope you're feeling better soon!

xx Kit

Oh, Kat, I'm very sad for you that you've lost your grandfather. It seems that he was a very special and fine man (and you look so much like each other on the shot above). I'm glad for you that you could attend the funeral, there is a form of closure about funerals which is very good for the grieving process, I find. I'm thinking about you and wishing you all the well in the world! Big hugs to you!

Oh, Kat...I'm so very sorry for your loss. Thinking of you & your family at this time and sending loving thoughts and prayers. May the love and care surrounding you all lift you now. I'm so sad you lost this special man in your life, my friend. What a happy photo of the two of you. :o) We never really lose thos we love...not completely, as long as we live in our hearts with love they are still there. Thinking of you...and sending love this Valentine's Day ((BIG HUGS))

Dear Kat,

I'm so sorry to hear of your grandfather's passing but I'm pleased to know that he is at peace now and no longer suffering. My grandmother is in a home and very ill right now, the doctor gives her only a few weeks so this time is also hard for us so I can completely relate to your feelings. Like Tracy said above, we never lose those we love. Never.

I have a favorite poem that I refer to whenever someone passes on... I will share it with you. It's from a greeting card that I saved years ago, I do not know who wrote it but it's amazing.

"The tide recedes but leaves behind bright seashells on the sand. The sun goes down but gentle warmth still lingers on the land. The music stops and yet it echoes on in sweet refrains. For every joy that passes something beautiful remains."

I'm sorry for your loss. You and your family will be in my prayers.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your Granda, sending you love

Kat, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you are comforted by your wonderful memories and the love your grandfather shared with the world. May you be blessed with grace and peace...

Hello dear Kat. I wrote to you several weeks back, it's not like you to not respond so my dear friend I do hope you are okay. I miss you and your blog posts so much.
