I wanted to share a secret with you. Its a beautiful boutique in Gosforth Newcastle, England, called Have to Love.
Kate stocks gorgeous clothing and jewellery from the likes of Malene Birger, Manoush, Day Birger, Sass&Bide and Sonia Rykiel and my favourite,jeans by Made in Heaven.
Voted in British Vogue, as one of the top 50 boutiques in the Uk, its not hard to see why when you step through the doors into this unique store, with its vintage furniture, huge floor length mirror and stunning black chandeliers. It is beautifully decorated, with the black and white wallpaper being off set by hot pink features, such as the antique chest used as the counter and those luxurious pink curtains.
Kate has created a special place for her customers to visit, and the best thing is, its an environment that you can feel comfortable in. Kate and Jill find that tricky balance of being both friendly and welcoming but never pushing you into a purchase. They'll happily help you try on your chosen pieces or leave you to browse at your leisure.
Along with the contemporary clothing brands there's also jewellery from House of Harlow, 8LA, and Disney couture, and ChloBo (pictured below)
Upstairs is a recent development to the shop. With black and white Vogue covers decorating one wall along with plenty of girlie touches to delight.
This was a card i made Kate for Have to Love's anniversary a few years ago. It's sitting on the shelf in store, in front of a leather bag by Have to hold. (Which is the name of the bag range designed by Kate herself).
The website stocks a wide selection of pieces if you can't make it to Newcastle or live outside the Uk, you can still partake in the Have to love boutique. There's also a facebook page, to keep up to date with all important sales and new stock.
